The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Thursday 29 February 2024, the index reached 53.990 points, compared to 54.056 points at yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index Fell against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It Fell against the Euro, Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, and settled against, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, pound sterling, US dollar.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 33.45 to EGP 33.51 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.34 to EGP 33.39 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 20.53 to EGP 20.62 while the average buying rose from EGP 20.47 to EGP 20.55 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 4.29 EGP 4.30 while the average buying settled at EGP 4.28.at the end of today's trading.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt settled at EGP 39.13 while the average buying Fell from EGP 38.99 to EGP 38.98 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.
