According To The List Provided By FirstBank Of The Most Focused Listed Banks On Personal Loans By The End Of The Previous December, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt Topped The List. Bank's Personal Loans Accounted For 24.97% Of The Total Customer Loans, Amounting To EGP 67.96 Bn By The End Of December 2023. While Personal Loans Reached EGP 16.97 Bn During The Same Period.
The List Measures Investment Trends Of 11 Listed Banks On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Specifically At The Level Of Personal Loan Portfolios. The List Is Based On The Ratio Of Personal Loans To Total Customer Loans, Providing An Indicator of The Extent To Which Customer Loans In The Bank Are Concentrated In Personal Loans By December -2023End.
Returning to the list, Housing & Development Bank (HD Bank) secured the second position, with 24.55% of Their total customer loans Concentrated On their personal Loan portfolio. Their personal Loans Amounted To EGP 11.17 Bn, While Total Customer Loans reached EGP 45.49 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Egyptian Gulf Bank Ranked Third, with Personal Loans Accounting For 22.83% Of Their Total Customer Loans. The bank recorded a total loan portfolio of EGP 33.71 Bn, while its personal loan Portfolio Reached EGP 7.70 Bn by The End Of 2023.
Saib Came In Fourth Place, With Personal Loans Representing 22.20% Of Their Total Customer Loans, Amounting To EGP 46.25 Bn. Their Personal Loan Portfolio Was Valued At EGP 10.27 Bn By The End Of The Previous December.
Credit Agricole Egypt Ranked Fifth, With Its Personal Loan Portfolio Accounting For 19.84% Of Their Total Customer Loans Concentrated on The Personal Loan Portfolio. Their Personal Loans Amounted To EGP 8.47 Bn, While Total Customer Loans Reached EGP 42.71 Bn By The End Of December 2023, closely followed by alBaraka and CIB, with concentration ratios of 16.81% and 16.03%, respectively, by The End Of The Same Period.
