EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 40.832 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during March 20 2024, the index reached 40.832 points, compared to 40.709 points at Yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against all Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the Euro, US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan, pound sterling, and Japanese Yen.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt Fell from EGP 47.11 to EGP 47.00 while the average buying Fell from EGP 47.01 to EGP 46.90 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 51.13 to EGP 50.96 while the average buying Fell from EGP 51.00 to EGP 50.84 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 59.81 to EGP 59.68 while the average buying fell from EGP 59.67 to EGP 59.53 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 31.33 EGP to 30.98 while the average buying Fell from EGP 31.27 to EGP 30.91 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt declined from EGP 6.54 to EGP 6.53 at the end of today's trading. while the average buying Fell from EGP 6.53 to EGP 6.51.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal Fell from EGP 12.56 to EGP 12.53 while the average buying Fell from EGP 12.53 to EGP 12.50 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt Fell from EGP 12.83 to EGP 12.79 while the average buying Fell from EGP 12.80 to EGP 12.77 at the end of today's trading.
