First Bank Has Revealed A List Of Listed Banks With The Highest Focus On Corporate deposits During 2023, Egyptian Export Development Bank "EBank" Topped The List After 82.24% Of Its Total Customer deposits, Amounting To EGP 86.93 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Were Concentrated In The Corporate deposits Portfolio Valued At EGP 71.49 Bn By The End Of The Same Period.
The List Sheds Light On The Strategies Of Listed Banks In Egypt In Diversifying Their Certificates And Products To Attract More Customers. It Uses The Criterion Of " Corporate Deposits/Total Deposits" To Provide An Indicator Of The Concentration Of A Bank's Deposit Portfolio In Corporate Deposits.
Following Closely In The List, Suez Canal Bank Secured The Second Position With 80.48% Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Worth EGP73.65 Bn, Concentrated In Corporate Deposits Valued At EGP 59.27 Bn At The End Of December 2023.
EGBANK Ranked Third, With 75.71% Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Totaling EGP 81.14 Bn, Focused On Corporate Deposits Valued At Approximately EGP 61.44 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
In The Fourth Position, Saib Obtained A 71.44% Share Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Amounting To EGP 60.94 Bn, From The Bank's Total Deposit Portfolio Of EGP 85.29 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Credit Agricole Egypt Came In Fifth Place, With 70.79% Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Totaling EGP 84.18 Bn, Concentrated In Corporate Deposits Valued At EGP 59.59 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
