EGP index Fell 0.47 points over a week, US dollar and Euro most effective

The Egyptian pound index decreased 0.47 points against the major of currencies over the week, it fell to 40.522 points, compared to 40.992 points at last Thursday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index decreased against all major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It Fell against Euro, Pound Sterling, Japanese Yen, Saudi riyal, Chinese yuan, UAE Dirham, and US dollar.
The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 46.72 to EGP 47.44 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 46.62to EGP 47.34.
The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 51.01 to EGP 51.20 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate increased from EGP 50.88 to EGP 51.07.
The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt increased from EGP 59.65 to EGP 59.89 over the week's trading while the average buying price decreased from EGP 59.50 to EGP 59.73.
The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 30.94 to EGP 31.34 while the buying rate rose from EGP30.87 to EGP 31.27.
The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt increased from EGP6.49 to EGP 6.56 while the buying rose from EGP6.47 to EGP 6.54.
The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 12.45 to EGP 12.65 while the buying rose from EGP 12.43 to EGP 12.62 to at the week's trading.
The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 12.72 to EGP 12.92 while buying price declined from EGP 12.69 to EGP 12.89 to at the week's trading.
