Emirates NBD, HD Bank, and EBank Top Fastest-growing banks in Net profits during 2023

First Bank Released A List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Terms Of Net Profits During The last Year. The List Revealed That Emirates NBD - Egypt Topped The List, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 174% In Its Net Profits, Reaching EGP 3.24 bn During 2023, Compared To EGP 1.18 bn During 2022.
The List, Which Included 20 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Analyzed Financial Data Provided By These Banks For The Period. It Showed That All The Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Net Profits From January To December 2023.
Housing and Development Bank Secured The Second Position After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 167.3% In Its Net Profits, Reaching EGP 6.03 bn During 2023, Compared To EGP 2.26 bn During 2022.
EBank Claimed The Third Position On The List, With Its Net Profits Jumping By A Growth Rate Of 154%, Reaching EGP 3.12 Bn During 2023, Compared To EGP 1.23 Bn During 2022, followed by First Abu Dhabi Bank - Egypt With A Growth Rate Of 131%.
Suez Canal Bank Secured The Fifth Position, With A Growth Rate Of 120.5%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 2.29 Bn During 2023, Compared To EGP 1.04 bn During 2022.
NBK Egypt Achieved The Sixth Position With A Growth Rate Of 120.2%, Generating Net Profits Of EGP 4.02 Bn During 2023, Compared To EGP 1.83 bn During 2022.
aiBANK Claimed The seventh Position With A Growth Rate Of 119%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 1.15 Bn During 2023, Compared To EGP 526 mn During 2022.
Credit Agricole – Egypt ranked eighth With A Growth Rate Of 112.6%, Recording Net Profits Of EGP 5.14 Bn During 2023, Compared To EGP 2.42 bn During 2022. It Was Followed By Banque du Caire With A Growth Rate Of 112.1% During The Same Period.
Tenth On The List Was Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank- Egypt, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 111.3% In Its Net Profits, Reaching EGP 4.49 Bn During 2023, Compared To EGP 2.13 bn During 2022.
It Is Worth Noting That All The Mentioned Values And Growth Rates Are Based On Separate Announced Financial Statements Of Each Bank At The End Of December 2023.
