The contribution of top 10 banks in Mortgage financing, worth EGP 59.46 bn by March -2024 End

Mai Abdel Hamid, head of Mortgage Finance Fund, revealed that Mortgage financing provided through the top 10 banks reached EGP 59.458 bn by the end of March 2024.
She pointed to the increase in Mortgage estate financing provided through 22 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector to EGP 66.448 bn by the end of March 2024.
She added that the number of customers benefiting from Mortgage financing in banks reached 544.626 thousand customers, accounting for 96.51% of total customers benefiting from Mortgage financing during the past month.
