HD Bank, Alex bank, Top banks in focusing on Retail loans investment by end of 2023

FirstBank's List Of Banks With The Highest Focus On Retail Loans At The End Of Last December Revealed That HD Bank Topped The List, With Its Retail Loan Portfolio Accounting For 54.78% Of The Bank's Total Customer Loans, Amounting To EGP 24.92 Bn By The End Of December 2023. Total Customer Loans Was EGP 45.49 Bn During The Same Period.

The List Reflects The Investment Trends Of 23 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Based On Their Financial Data For Analysis, Specifically In Terms Of Retail Loans. It Provides An Indicator Of How Much The Bank's Customer Loan Portfolio Is Concentrated In Retail Loans.

Alex Bank Secured The Second Position With 45% Of Its Total Customer Loans, Concentrated In Retail Loans Portfolio Valued At EGP 28.76Bn, While Total Customer Loans Amounting To EGP 63.93Bn By December 2023End, Followed By Banque Du Caire With 42.77% During The Same Period.

ABK_Egypt Claimed the Fourth Position, With Concentration ratio 35.53% Of Its Total Customer Loans Into Retail Loan Portfolio, Totaling EGP 16.69 Bn By The End Of December 2023. Their Total Customer Loan Portfolio Amounted To EGP 46.97 Bn By The End Of The Same Period.

aiBank Claimed the Fifth Position With 32.98% After Its Total Customer Loans Valued At EGP 22.76 Bn, While Retail Loans Portfolio Registered EGP 7.51 Bn By The End of December 2023.

Saib Ranked Seventh on The List, As 27.37% Of Its Total Customer Loans, Amounting To EGP 46.28 Bn, Were Concentrated In The retail Loans By The End Of December 2023. The Bank's retail Loan Portfolio Reached EGP 12.67 Bn, Followed By ADIB Egypt With 26.93% During The Same Period.

Credit Agricole - Egypt come in Eighth Position With 25.44% Of Its Total Customer Loans, Valued At EGP42.71 Bn, Concentrated In Retail Loans Portfolio Totaling EGP 10.87 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

EGBANK Secured the Ninth Position With 24.82%, Its Total Retail Loans  Valued at EGP 8.37Bn, While Total Customer Loans Portfolio Amounted To EGP 33.71Bn By The End Of December 2023.

Emirates NBD come in Tenth place, with 23.45% Of Its Total Customer Loans, Amounting To EGP 60.07 Bn, Were Concentrated In The retail Loans By The End Of December 2023. The Bank's retail Loan Portfolio Reached EGP 14.09 Bn, Following By, CIB and ADCB - Egypt with A Concentration Rates Of 22.66%, 21.91% Respectively By The End Of The Same Period.
