He was born in 1967, California, from a young age he was fond of technology and computer, Reid Hoffman first started working at the age of 12 at a gaming company.

Hoffman attended Stanford University, graduated in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in science, and received a master's degree in philosophy in 1993 from Oxford University.

Reid aspired to become a well-known writer, but what he discouraged was his dream of leaving a great impact and a positive message among people. This pushed him towards following the world of entrepreneurship because it is the best way to achieve his purpose.
