CIB: corporate loans grow by 21%, recording EGP 247.6 bn by March -2024end

Commercial International Bank's separate financial statements ended March 31 revealed that the bank's corporate loans portfolio rose by 20.76% and an increase of EGP 42.57 bn during the first quarter of this year, reaching EGP 247.61bn by the end of March 2024, compared to EGP 205.04 bn by the end of December 2023.
The bank's total syndicated loans portfolio jumped by 31.03% and an increase of EGP 15.92bn during the first quarter of this year, registering about EGP 67.24 bn by the end of March 2024, compared to EGP51.31 bn by the end of December 2023.
The bank's total direct loans portfolio increased to EGP 117.50 bn by the end of March 2024, compared to EGP 98.47 bn by the end of December 2023, rising by 19.33% and achieve an increase of EGP 19.03 bn during the first quarter of 2024.
Debit current accounts portfolio in the bank experienced a growth of 13.30%, with an increase of EGP 27.29 bn during the first quarter of this year, reaching a value of EGP 62.12bn by the end of March 2024, compared to EGP 54.82 bn by the end of December 2023.
It is worth mentioning that the total customer loans and facilities at the bank recorded about EGP 312.83 bn by the end of March 2024, compared to 265.10bn by the end of December 2023, to grow by 18% and achieve an increase of EGP 47.73bn during the first quarter of this year.
