NBE ranked 1st at First Bank indicator for deposits market share during H1/2022
The National Bank of Egypt acquires more than third of the market share:
National Bank of Egypt has the largest bank Market Share by Deposits among banks working in the Egyptian market accounting for 37.89 percent of the total deposits By the end of June 2022, according to First Bank top 10 Bank Market Share by Deposits list.
Banque Misr was second on basis of market share, CIB was third:
Banque Misr came in second place, with a market share by deposits of 19.6% at the end of the first half of 2022, after its portfolio recorded 1.45 trillion at June 2022.
Commercial International Bank was in third place with a market share of 5.80% of the total deposits, worth 427.5 billion pounds at the end of June 2022, while QNB came fourth with a market share of 4.59% of the total, with deposits recording 338.1 billion pounds at the same period.
Banque du Caire managed to maintain its fifth place under the leadership of Tarek Fayed
Banque du Caire maintained its fifth place with a market share of 2.95% of the total depositsr, with a value of 217.7 billion pounds at the end of June 2022, followed by the Arab African Bank with a market share of 2.50% of the total deposits, with a value of 184.5 billion pounds at the end of last June .
The Agricultural Bank of Egypt came seventh with a market share of 1.62% at the end of June 2022 with total deposits of 119 billion pounds, followed by Faisal Islamic Bank with a market share of 1.57% of the total deposits of at the end of the same period.
The ratings mentioned in the above analysis are in accordance with the independent financial statements announced by each bank at the end of the first half of 2022.
