EBank, saib, and aiBANK, fastest-growing banks in retail deposits during Q1- 2024

FirstBank List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Retail Deposits Revealed That EBank Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 31.47% During The first quarter of the current year. Its Portfolio Size Increased To EGP 17.33 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 13.19 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

The List Tracked the Size Of Retail Deposits Portfolios At 22 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector, For Which Financial Data Was Available For Analysis. It Showed That All Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Retail Deposits Portfolios, From January To March 2024.

Returning To The List, saib Secured The Second Position After Its Retail Deposits Portfolio Grew By 24.86% during The first quarter of the current year, Reaching A Total Portfolio Size Of Around EGP 30.43Bn By The End Of March 2024, Up From EGP 24.37 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

As For The Third Position, It Was Claimed By aiBANK After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 24.50% In Its Retail Deposits Portfolio During The first quarter of the current year. Its Value Stood At EGP 18.84 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 15.13 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

Faisal islamic Bank Secured The Fourth Position With A Growth Rate Of 21.69% During The first quarter of the current year, As Its Retail Deposits Portfolio Increased To EGP 152.80 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Up From EGP125.57 Bn At The End Of December 2023 It Was Followed By EGBANk With A Growth Rate Of 21.35% During The Same Period.

Commercial International Bank - Egypt (CIB) Come In Sixth Place After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 20.8% In Its Total Retail Deposits Portfolio During The first quarter of the current year, With A Value Of EGP 443.56 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 369.37 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

ADCB Egypt Secured The Seventh Position After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 19.02% In Its Retail Deposits Portfolio During The first quarter of the current year, Recording A Value Of EGP 17.03 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 14.31 Bn At The End Of December 2023.

Emirates NBD Egypt Came In Eight Place With A Growth Rate Of 17.24% during The first quarter of the current year, Recording An Retail Deposits Portfolio Of EGP 35.57 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 30.34Bn At The End Of December 2023.

QNB Come In Ninth Place After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 17.21% In Its Retail Deposits Portfolio during The first quarter of the current year, Recording A Value Of EGP 203.22 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 173.38 Bn At The End Of December 2023.
