According To First Bank List of Fastest-Growing Banks In Syndicated Loans, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 93.20% During The first quarter of the current Year After the Bank’s Total Portfolio Of Syndicated Loans Rose To EGP 3.18 bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 1.65bn By The End Of December 2023.
The List Revealed the Total Syndicated Loans Of 20 Banks in The Egyptian Banking Sector, For Which Financial Data Were Available For Analysis, And all Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In The Syndicated Loans, From January To March 2024.
Returning To the List, ADCB Egypt Secured the Second Position With A Growth Rate Of 63.41% During The first quarter of the current Year, Increasing Its Total Portfolio To EGP 3.08 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 1.88Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Credit Agricole Bank Came in Third Place With A Growth Rate Of 47.41% During The first quarter of the current Year, After The Bank’s Total Portfolio Of Syndicated Loans Rose To EGP 2.02Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 1.37Bn By The End Of December 2023.
saib Come in Fourth Position With A Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio Growth Rate Of 43.21% During The first quarter of the current Year, Reaching EGP 19.91 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 13.90 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
As For Fifth Place, QNB Obtained It After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 38.47% In Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio During The first quarter of the current Year, To Record EGP 30.80 Bn At The End Of March 20243, Compared To EGP 22.24 Bn At The End Of December 2023.
EGBANK Come in Sixth Position With A Growth Rate Of 36.58% During The first quarter of this Year, Reaching EGP 11.07 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 8.11 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Followed By ADIB Egypt With A Growth Rate Of 31.07% During The Same Period.
Commercial International Bank-CIB Secured the Eighth Position with A Growth Rate Of 31.03% During The first quarter of this Year, Its Syndicated Loans Increasing To EGP 67.24bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 61.31 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Suez Canal Bank Secured the Ninth Position with A Growth Rate Of 30.67% During The first quarter of this Year, As Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Increased To EGP14.29Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 10.93 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Arab African International Bank Ranked Tenth with A Growth Rate Of 26.82% During The first quarter of the current Year, Recording A Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio of EGP 62.38 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 49.19 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Followed By alBaraka With A Growth Rate Of 25.53% During The Same Period.
