According To First Bank List of Fastest-Growing Banks in Direct Loans, Emirates NBD-Egypt Topped the List With A Growth Rate Of 34.79% During The first quarter of the current Year, Increasing Its Portfolio To EGP 17.97Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 13.33 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
The List Revealed the Total Direct Loans Of 21 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Based On The Financial Data Available For Analysis During The Period. It Showed all Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates in Their Direct Loan Portfolios, From January to March 2024.
ADIB Egypt Secured the Second Position, With A Growth Rate Of 25.82% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The first quarter of the current Year, Reaching A Value of EGP 51.24 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 40.73 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Arab African international Bank-AAIB Came in Third Place, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 22.27% In Its Total Direct Loan Portfolio During The first quarter of the current Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP31.33Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP25.59 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
As For the Fourth Position, It Was Claimed by ABK - Egypt, With A Growth Rate Of 22.27% During The first quarter of the current Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 25.03 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP20.47Bn By The End Of December 2023.
HD Bank Secured the Fifth Position, With Its Direct Loan Portfolio Growing By 19.45% During The first quarter of the current Year, Rising To EGP 12.13 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 10.15 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Commercial international Bank-CIB Ranked Sixth with A Growth Rate Of 19.33% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The first quarter of the current Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP117.50Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 98.47 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
ADCB Egypt Secured the Seventh Position, after Its Direct Loan Portfolio Increasing By 17.37% During The first quarter of the current Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 23.23 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 19.79 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Followed By Alex Bank With A Growth Rate Of 15.60% During The Same Period.
Suez Canal Bank Secured the Ninth Position, With Its Direct Loan Portfolio Growing By 13.28% During The first quarter of the current Year, Rising To EGP 4.91 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 4.34 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
QNB Ranked Tenth with A Growth Rate Of 12.02% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The Last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP88.08Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 78.62 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
