According To the Latest First Bank Report Ranking The Best Banks In Loans-To-Deposit Ratio (Loans/Deposits) By The End Of March 2024 Revealed That Ahli United Bank – Egypt Topped The List, With An Employment Rate Of 75.13%, After Total Loan Portfolio Reached EGP 76.17 Bn While Its Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP 101.39 Bn By The End Of March 2024.
First Bank List Analyzed Loans To Deposit Ratios Among 22 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Based On Their Financial Data For The Analysis Period. The Report Revealed That 22 Banks Achieved Commendable Deployment Rates Ranging From 38.75% To 75.13% By During The first quarter of the current Year.
Securing The Second Position On The List Is National Bank Of Kuwait - Egypt With A Rate Of 67.97%. The Bank's Loan Portfolio Reached EGP 86.14Bn, While Its Deposit Portfolio Stood At EGP126.73Bn By The End Of March 2024.
Taking The Third Spot Is Emirates NBD-Egypt With An Employment Rate Of 60.97%. The Bank's Customer Loan Portfolio Reached EGP65.08 bn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Amounted To EGP 106.73 Bn By The End Of March 2023, Following Closely, Banque Du Cairo Achieved A 60.68% During The Same Period Of 2024.
ADIB Egypt Secured The Fifth Position On The List With A Deposit Employment Rate Of 60.09%. The Bank's Customer Loan Portfolio Amounted To EGP 86.18 Bn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP143.44 Bn By The End Of March 2024.
Claiming The Sixth Place Is EBank With An Employment Rate Of 57.64%. The Bank's Deposit Portfolio Amounted To EGP 107.92 Bn By The End Of March 2024, While Its Customer Loan Portfolio Reached EGP63.37 Bn During The first quarter Of 2024 Following Closely, AttijariWafa Bank Achieved A 58.06% During The Same Period Of 2024.
ABK- Egypt Ranked Eighth With an Employment Rate Of 57.82%. The Bank's Customer Loans reached EGP 55.43 Bn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Amounted to EGP 95.87 Bn By The End Of March 2024.
Saib Claimed The Ninth Position With A Deposit Deployment Rate Of 54.87%. The Bank's Customer Loan Portfolio Surged To EGP 57.29 Bn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Increased To EGP 104.41 Bn By The End Of March 2024.
Credit Agricole- Egypt Ranked Tenth On The List With A Deposit Employment Rate Of 54.09%.
