CIB: corporate loans grow by 27%, recording EGP 260.4 bn by June -2024end

Commercial International Bank's separate financial statements ended June 30, 2024 revealed that the bank's corporate loans portfolio rose by 26.99% and an increase of EGP 55.35 bn during the first Half of this year, reaching EGP 260.39bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 205.04 bn by the end of December 2023.
The bank's total syndicated loans portfolio jumped by 27.69% and an increase of EGP 14.21bn during the first 6 months of this year, registering about EGP 65.52 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP51.31 bn by the end of December 2023.
The bank's total direct loans portfolio increased to EGP 124.46 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 98.47 bn by the end of December 2023, rising by 26.39% an increase of EGP 25.99 bn during the first half of 2024.
Debit current accounts portfolio in the bank experienced a growth of 26.97%, with an increase of EGP 14.79 bn during the first Half of this year, reaching a value of EGP 69.61bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 54.82 bn by the end of December 2023.
It is worth mentioning that the total customer loans and facilities at the bank recorded about EGP 329.45 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to 265.10bn by the end of December 2023, to grow by 24.27% and achieve an increase of EGP 64.35bn during the first Half of this year.
