First Bank Index Of Depositors’ Confidence In Listed Banks By The End Of Last June Revealed That Commercial International Bank – Egypt Ranked First After It Succeeded In Increasing Its Customer Deposits Portfolio By EGP182.43Bn During The first half of the current Year, To Record EGP857.74Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP675.3Bn By The End Of December 2023.
First Bank Index Of Depositors’ Confidence Measured The Value Of The Increase In The Size Of Deposit Portfolios Of 11 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange During The Period From January To June 2024, And The Index Revealed That All Banks Were Able To Increase Their Customer Deposits Portfolios By A Total Value Of EGP 523 Bn During H1- 2024.
First Bank Index Of Depositors’ Confidence Is An Index That Was Launched To Measure The Trends And Confidence Of Savers In Linking Deposits And Certificates To Egyptian Banks During A Certain Period.
The Index Relies On Measuring The Value Of The Increase In The Balance Of Deposit Portfolios Of Banks Listed On Egyptian Stock Exchange, So That The Largest Bank That Received New Deposits During The Period From January To June 2024 Is The First Bank On The Index.
Qatar National Bank- QNB Ranked Second, After Its Customer Deposits Portfolio Increased By EGP106.36Bn During The first half of this Year, To record EGP636.48Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 530.1 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt Came In Third, After It Managed To Increase Its Customer Deposits Portfolio By EGP36.27Bn During The first 6 months of this year, To Reach EGP163.40Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP127.13Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Export Development Bank -EBank Came In Fourth Place, After It Managed To Increase Its Customer Deposits Portfolio By An Increase Of EGP36.05bn during The First Half of the current year, After Its Portfolio Size Rose To EGP 122.98 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 86.93 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
The Fifth Place Was Won By EGBANK, After Its Customer Deposits Portfolio Increased by EGP34.89Bn During The first 6 months of this Year, To Record EGP116.04Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP81.14Bn By The End Of December 2023.
