AAIB, ADCB Egypt, and HD Bank, fastest-growing banks in net interest income during H1-2024

FirstBank List of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Net Interest Income During The first half of the current year Revealed That Arab African International Bank (AAIB) Topped The List, As Its Net Interest Income Jumping By 109.87%, Recording Approximately EGP 14.703 Bn During the first half of 2024, Compared To EGP 7.006Bn during H1-2023.

The List Included 22 Banks Operating in The Egyptian Banking Sector, All Of Which Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Net Interest Income From January To June 2024.

Returning To the List, ADCB Egypt Took the Second Position With A Growth Rate Of 87.37%, Recording A Net Interest Income Of Approximately EGP 3.732 Bn in the first half of the current year, Compared To EGP 1.992 Bn During the same period of 2023.

HD Bank Claimed the Third Position With A Growth Rate Of 81.32%, As Its Net Income From Returns Increased To EGP 8.214 Bn During The first half of this year, Compared To EGP4.530Bn During the same period of 2023.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt Ranked Fourth with A Growth Rate Of 80.70%, Recording A Net Interest Income of Approximately EGP 6.926 Bn During The first half of 2024, Compared To EGP 3.833 Bn During the same period of 2023.

CIB - Egypt Ranked Fifth with A Growth Rate Of 74.19%, As Its Net Interest Income From returns Increased To EGP 41.440 Bn During The First 6M Of 2024, Compared To EGP 23.790 Bn During the first half of 2023.

saib, Secured the Sixth Position with A Net Interest Income 72.14%, Recording EGP EGP3.564Bn during the first half of this year, Compared To EGP 2.071 Bn during H1- 2023.

SC Bank Come In Seventh Position With A Growth Rate Of 71.73%, Recording Net interest Income Of EGP 2.545 Bn During The first half of 2024, Compared To EGP 1.482 Bn During the same period of 2023.

EBank, Secured the Eighth Position With A Net Interest Income 69.14%, Recording EGP EGP3.957Bn During first half of 2024, Compared To EGP 2.340 Bn during the first half of 2023.

ABK- Egypt Ranked Ninth with A Growth Rate Of 67.95%, Recording A Net Interest Income Of Approximately EGP 2.988 Bn During The first half of 2024, Compared To EGP 1.779 bn During the first half of 2023, Followed By credit Agricole With A Growth Rate Of 66.37% During The Same Period.
