EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 39.248 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 16 October 2024, the index reached 39.248 points, compared to 39.278 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 6 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against US dollar, Euro, Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, Saudi riyal, UAE dirham and rose against pound sterling.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.59 to EGP 48.66 while the average buying increased from EGP 48.49 to EGP 48.56 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 52.98 to EGP 53.00 while the average buying rose from EGP 52.86 to EGP 52.88 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 32.55 to EGP 32.58 while the average buying rose from EGP 32.49 to EGP 32.51 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt increased from EGP 6.82 to EGP 6.84 while the average buying rose from EGP 6.81 to EGP 6.82 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 12.94 to EGP 12.95 while the average buying increased from EGP 12.91 to EGP 12.93 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.23 to EGP 13.24 while the average buying increased from EGP 13.20 to EGP 13.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 63.58 to EGP 63.32 while the average buying fell from EGP 63.44 to EGP 63.19 at the end of today's trading.
