EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.956 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 19 September 2024, the index reached 38.956 points, compared to 38.957 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 3 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan and rose against US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 54.08 to EGP 54.19 while the average buying rose from EGP 53.96 to EGP 54.07 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 64.22 to EGP 64.54 while the average buying increased from EGP 64.08 to EGP 64.40 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.86 to EGP 6.87 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.84 to EGP 6.86 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.60 to EGP 48.56 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.50 to EGP 48.46 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 34.30 to EGP 33.94 while the average buying fell from EGP 34.23 to EGP 33.87 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.23 to EGP 13.22 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.20 to EGP 13.19 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 12.95 to EGP 12.94 while the average buying decreased from EGP 12.92 to EGP 12.91 at the end of today's trading.
