EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 39.050 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 16 September 2024, the index reached 39.050 points, compared to 39.204 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 4 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan it rose against US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 53.40 to EGP 53.90 while the average buying rose from EGP 53.28 to EGP 53.79 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP 63.23 to EGP 63.98 while the average buying increased from EGP 63.08 to EGP 63.82 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 34.01 to EGP 34.61 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.93 to EGP 34.53 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.80 to EGP 6.83 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.79 to EGP 6.81 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.48 to EGP 48.47 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.38 to EGP 48.37 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.20 to EGP 13.19 while the average buying settled at EGP 13.17 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 12.92 to EGP 12.91 while the average buying decreased from EGP 12.89 to EGP 12.88 at the end of today's trading
