EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 38.908 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during 21 November 2024, the index reached 38.908 points, compared to 38.845 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 6 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, and fell against Japanese Yen.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 49.78 to EGP 49.72 while the average buying decreased from EGP 49.68 to EGP 49.62 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 52.54 to EGP 52.32 while the average buying fell from EGP 52.43 to EGP 52.21 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 63.08 to EGP 62.85 while the average buying fell from EGP 62.93 to EGP 62.70 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.55 to EGP 13.53 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.52 to EGP 13.50 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal decreased from EGP 13.26 to EGP 13.24 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.23 to EGP 13.21 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 6.87 to EGP 6.86 while the average settled at EGP 6.85 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 31.95 to EGP 32.14 while the average buying increased from EGP 31.88 to EGP 32.07 at the end of today's trading.
