First Bank List of The Most Efficient Listed Banks In Terms Of Asset Investment (Return On Average Assets), ROA, During 9M of the current Year Revealed HD Bank Topping The List With A Rate Of 7.84%, Having Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 8.271 Bn During 9M-2024.
The List, Including 11 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Disclosed That All Banks Achieved Positive Return Rates On Average Assets, Attributed To Varying Levels Of Success In Generating Net Profits From January To June 2024 Without Any Reported Losses.
Return On Average Assets Measures Banks’ Efficiency In Investing Their Assets To Achieve Net Profits During The Analyzed Period. The Higher The Return, The More Efficient The Bank Is In Generating Suitable Profit Levels.
Returning To The List, Credit Agricole Secured The Second Position With A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 7.30% During 9M of 2024, Due To Its Net Profit Rising To EGP 6.060 Bn During The same period.
CIB Claimed The Third Position On The List With A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 5.83% during 9M of the current year, Thanks To The Bank’s Achievement Of A Net Profit Of EGP 42.557 Bn The same period.
Faisal Islamic Bank Secured The Fourth Position With A Return On Average Assets Rate Of 5.51%, Having Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 8.318 Bn During 9M of this year.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt Ranked Fifth, Achieving A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 4.45% During The first 9M of this Year, Recording A Net Profit Of Around EGP 6.653 Bn During The Same Period.
