EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.597 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during December, the index reached 38.597 points, compared to 38.788 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt decreased from EGP 49.85 to EGP 50.04 while the average buying fell from EGP 49.75 to EGP 49.94 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 52.34 to EGP 52.70 while the average buying fell from EGP 52.22 to EGP 52.58 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt fell from EGP 63.21 to EGP 63.67 while the average decreased from EGP 63.08 to EGP 63.51 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 33.03 to EGP 33.28 while the average buying increased from EGP 32.96 to EGP 33.20 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.85 to EGP 6.88 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.84 to EGP 6.87 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 13.26 to EGP 13.32 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.23 to EGP 13.29 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham rose from EGP 13.57 to EGP 13.62 while the average buying increased from EGP 13.54 to EGP 13.59 at the end of today's trading.
