AAIB, EBank, and  SC Bank Fastest-growing banks in customer deposits during 9M-2024

FirstBank List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Customer Deposits during The First 9M of the current Year Revealed That AAIB Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 57.61%, As Its Total Portfolio Reached EGP 620.571 Bn By The End Of September 2024, Compared To EGP 393.739 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

The List Included 23 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector, With Their Financial Data Available For Analysis. It Revealed That 22 Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Customer Deposit Portfolios while 1 bank declined, From January To September 2024.

EBank Secured The Second Position On The List With A Growth Rate of 45.92% In Its Customer Deposit Portfolio During The First 9M of the current Year, Increasing From EGP 126.851 Bn By The End Of December 2023 To Reach EGP 86.933 Bn By The End Of September 2024.

SC Bank Took the Third Position After Its Customer deposit Portfolio Grew By 45.76% during The First 9M of the current Year, Reaching Approximately EGP 107.348 Bn By The End Of September 2024, Compared To EGP73.647 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

ADIB come in fourth position After Its Customer Deposit Portfolio Grew By 44.91% During The First 9M of the current Year, recording EGP 184.218 Bn By The End Of September 2024, Compared To EGP 127.128 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

EGBank Secured The Fifth Position After Its Customer Deposit Portfolio Grew By 43.88% During the First 9M of the current Year, Rising From EGP 81.142 Bn By The End Of December 2023 To Approximately EGP 116.745 Bn By The End Of September 2024.

ABK Egypt Took The Sixth Position With A Growth Rate Of 40.87% During the First 9 months of the current Year, Recording Total Deposits Of EGP 117.012 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 83.064 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

NBK Ranked Seventh With A Growth Rate Of 38.93% In Its Customer Deposit Portfolio During the First 9 months of this Year, As Its Total Deposits Reached EGP147.168 Bn By The End Of September 2024, Compared To EGP 83.064 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

ADCB Ranked Eigth With A Growth Rate Of 37.07% In Its Customer Deposit Portfolio During the First 9M of of the current Year, As Its Total Deposits Reached EGP 118.753 Bn By The End Of September 2024, Compared To EGP 86.635 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

saib Came In Tenth Place With A Growth Rate Of 36.80% During the First 6 months of the current Year, As Its Total Customer Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP 116.686 Bn By The End Of September 2024, Compared To EGP 85.294 Bn By The End Of December 2023. 

CIB Came In Tenth Place With A Growth Rate Of 32.78% During the First 9 months of the current Year, As Its Total Customer Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP 896.692 Bn By The End Of September 2024, Compared To EGP 675.310 Bn By The End Of December 2023. 

It's Worth Noting That All The Values And Growth Rates Mentioned In The Analysis Above Are Based On Separate Financial Statements Announced By Each Bank As Of The End Of September 2024.
