EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.029 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during December, the index reached 38.029 points, compared to 38.098 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 4 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt increased  from EGP 50.96 to EGP 51.12 while the average buying rose from EGP 50.87 to EGP 51.02 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 53.16 to EGP 53.13 while the average buying fell from EGP 53.05 to EGP 53.00 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt fell from EGP 64.07 to EGP 64.02 while the average decreased from EGP 63.93 to EGP 63.88 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 32.58 to EGP 32.55 while the average buying decreased from EGP 32.52 to EGP 32.48 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.98 to EGP 7.00 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.97 to EGP 6.99 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 13.56 to EGP 13.61 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.54 to EGP 13.58 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham rose from EGP 13.87 to EGP 13.92 while the average buying increased from EGP 13.84 to EGP 13.89 at the end of today's trading.
