ADCB's customer deposits jump by 355.5% over the last 5 years

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank - Egypt "ADCB" has been able to achieve record growth in the size of its customer deposit portfolio over the last 5 years "specifically since its brand launch in Egypt in 2020, jumping at a growth rate of 355.5% and an increase of EGP 90.927 bn, registering EGP 116.5 bn by the end of December 2024, compared to EGP 29.084 bn by the end of December 2020.

Tracking the portfolio growth journey over the period under analysis, ADCB achieved the fastest annual growth rate in the Bank's customer deposit portfolio in 2022 by 83.6%, after the total portfolio moved from EGP 41.112 bn by the end of December 2021, reaching EGP 75.492 bn by the end of December 2022, with an increase of EGP 34.381 bn.

The Bank witnessed the second fastest annual growth rate in the customer deposit portfolio in 2021 at 41.4% after the value of customer deposits at the Bank reached EGP 41.112 bn by the end of December 2021, compared to EGP 29.084 bn by the end of December 2020.

As for the development of the portfolio over the past year, the Bank achieved growth of 34.48% and an increase of EGP 29.869 bn, bringing the total deposits of the Bank's customers to EGP 116.5 bn by the end of December 2024 compared to EGP 86.635 bn by the end of December 2023.

Overall, ADCB Egypt achieved remarkable results in its major financial indicators over the past year, jumping its net profit by 108.67%, reaching EGP 4.27 bn in 2024, compared to EGP 2.05 bn in 2023, an increase of EGP 2.22 bn.

In terms of the bank's financial position, the volume of the asset portfolio increased at a growth rate of 36.81% and an increase of EGP 36.09 bn over the past year, registering EGP 134.16 bn by the end of December 2024, compared to 98.06 bn by the end of December 2023.

The volume of the Bank's deposit portfolio grew by 34.48% over the past year, reaching EGP 116.50 bn by the end of December 2024, compared to EGP 86.64 bn by the end of December 2023, bringing an increase of EGP 29.87 bn.

The Bank's total loan portfolio jumped by 45.43% and an increase of EGP 17.17 bn pounds over the past year, reaching EGP 54.96 bn by the end of December 2024, compared to 37.79 bn by the end of December 2023.
