EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 36.981 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 22 April 2025, the index reached 36.981 points, compared to 37.056  points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt decrease from EGP 51.16 to EGP 51.08 while the average buying fell from EGP 51.06 to EGP 50.98 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt increase from EGP 58.05 to EGP 58.62 while the average buying rose from  EGP 57.93 to EGP 58.50 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt increase from EGP 67.66 to EGP 68.27 while the average rose from EGP 67.52 to EGP 68.11 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increase from EGP 35.90 to EGP 36.38 while the average buying rose from EGP 35.82 to EGP 36.30 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt decrease from EGP 7.01 to  EGP 6.98 while the average buying  fell from  EGP 6.99 to EGP 6.97 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt decrease from EGP 13.63 to EGP 13.61 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.60 to EGP 13.59 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham decrease from EGP 13.93 to  EGP 13.90 while the average buying fell from  EGP 13.90 to EGP 13.87 at the end of today's trading.
