Al Baraka, saib and EGBANK top the fastest growing banks in net fees and commissions income during 2024

First Bank list monitored the net fees and commissions income of 23 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector for which financial data were available for the analysis period, and revealed that 21 of the banks under analysis achieved positive growth rates, while only two banks recorded a slight decline during the year 2024.
Returning to the list, saib won second place, thanks to an increase in its net income from fees and commissions by about 92.80% during the past year, recording 1.062 billion pounds during 2024, compared to 550.967 million pounds during 2023.
The Egyptian Gulf Bank «EGBANK» came in third place, as its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 74.63% over the past year, reaching 1.156 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 662.209 million pounds in 2023.
Alex Bank took fourth place, after its net income from fees and commissions jumped by about 70.29% over the past year, reaching 2.119 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 1.244 billion pounds in 2023.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank – Egypt «ADCB» ranked fifth, as its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 58.32% over the past year, recording 1.020 billion pounds during 2024, compared to 644.058 million pounds during 2023.
Attijariwafa Bank took sixth place, after its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 54.80% over the past year, reaching 1.286 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 830.939 million pounds in 2023.
Emirates NBD – Egypt came seventh, as its net income from fees and commissions jumped by about 51.48% over the past year, reaching 1.695 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 1.119 billion pounds in 2023.
Suez Canal Bank took eighth place, after its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 48.32% over the past year, reaching 979,914 million pounds in 2024, compared to 660,680 million pounds in 2023. Banque du Caire dominated ninth place, thanks to an increase in its net income from fees and commissions by about 46.97% over the past year, recording 5.746 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 3.910 billion pounds in 2023.
As for tenth place, it went to «QNB» Bank Egypt, after its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 41.66% during the past year, recording 5.686 billion pounds during the year 2024, compared to 4.014 billion pounds during the year 2023.
It is worth noting that all values and growth rates mentioned in the above analysis are according to the independent financial statements announced for each bank during the year 2024.
