KFH resource employment ratio rose to 81.41% by the end of March 2025

The separate financial statements of Kuwait Finance House Bank – Egypt for the financial period ending on March 31, 2025, revealed an increase in the bank’s resource employment rate to 81.41% at the end of March 2025, compared to 80.37% at the end of 2024.
This indicator, launched by the research center of «First Bank», measures the rate of employment of traditional resources «deposits + equity», in «financing + financial investments» with banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector.
The increase in the bank’s resource utilization rate during the first quarter of 2025 reflects «Kuwait Finance House – Egypt» following a relatively expansionary policy towards employing its resources during this period.
The bank was able to employ 120.81 billion pounds of its traditional resources, which recorded 148.41 billion pounds by the end of March 2025 in both financing and financial investments, amounting to 31.11 billion pounds for financial investments, and 89.70 billion pounds for total customer financing.
While it invested 108.90 billion pounds from its traditional resources, which recorded 135.50 billion pounds by the end of 2024 in both financing and financial investments, amounting to 23.91 billion pounds for financial investments, and 84.99 billion pounds for total customer financing.
In terms of traditional resources at Kuwait Finance House Bank – Egypt at the end of March 2025, which amounted to 148.41 billion pounds, they were distributed as follows: 129.30 billion, the size of the deposit portfolio, while the bank’s equity recorded 19.11 billion pounds.
Despite the high rate of investment of resources at «Kuwait Finance House – Egypt», the rate of investment of deposits for financing grants at the bank recorded a rate of 69.37% at the end of March 2025, compared to 72.59% at the end of 2024.
While the rate of employment of deposits for financial investments jumped significantly after its percentage rose to 24.06% at the end of March 2025, compared to 20.42% at the end of 2024.
