EGP slumps to new record low against US dollar, trade at EGP 29.39 on Wednesday
The Egyptian pound continues to fall against the US dollar to trade at EGP 28.39 for buying at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank at the beginning of Wednesday transaction a day after International Monetary Press Release on Egypt request for extended arrangement under the extended fund facility-; and staff report.
The lowest rate for US dollar was recorded in the Commercial International Bank at EGP 27.66.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the US dollar recorded EGP 29 for buying and EGP 29.07 for selling. The trading was set at EGP 29.05 for buying and EGP 29.15 for selling against the US dollar at the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB-Egypt).
