Al Baraka, SC Bank and AlexBank top fastest growing banks in net fees and commissions income during Q1-2025

«First Bank»’s list of the fastest growing banks in net income from fees and commissions during the first quarter of 2025 revealed that Al Baraka Bank topped the list, as its net income from fees and commissions jumped by about 87.6% during the first quarter of 2025, reaching 259.51 million pounds during the first quarter.From this year, compared to 138.32 million pounds during the corresponding period in 2024.
The «First Bank» list monitored the net income from fees and commissions of 23 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector for which financial data were available for the analysis period, and revealed that 16 of the banks under analysis achieved positive growth rates, while 7 banks recorded a noticeable decline during the first quarter of 2025.
Returning to the list, Suez Canal Bank won second place, after its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 68.8% during the first quarter of 2025, reaching 335.03 million pounds during the first quarter of this year, compared to 198.47 million pounds during the same period in 2024.
The Bank of Alexandria took third place, after its net income from fees and commissions jumped by about 63.2% during the first quarter of this year, reaching 590.61 million pounds during the first quarter of 2025, compared to 361.81 million pounds during the same period in 2024.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt «ADIB» snatched fourth place, thanks to an increase in its net income from fees and commissions by about 42.7% during the first quarter of this year, recording 634.25 million pounds during the first 3 months of 2025, compared to 444.34 million pounds during the corresponding period of 2024.
The Housing and Development Bank came in fifth place, as its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 39.3% during the first quarter of 2025, reaching 295.56 million pounds during the first quarter of this year, compared to 212.14 million pounds during the corresponding period in 2024.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank – Egypt «ADCB» ranked sixth, as its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 38.9% during the first 3 months of 2025, recording 344.44 million pounds during the first quarter of 2025, compared to 247.92 million pounds during the first quarter of 2024.
Qatar National Bank – Egypt «QNB» took seventh place, after its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 36.1% during the first quarter of 2025, reaching 1.74 billion pounds during the first quarter of this year, compared to 1.28 billion pounds during the same period in 2024.
Credit Agricole Bank - Egypt came eighth, as its net income from fees and commissions jumped by about 27.9% during the first 3 months of 2025, reaching 405.94 million pounds during the first quarter of this year, compared to 317.44 million pounds during the corresponding period in 2024.
The United Bank dominated ninth place, thanks to an increase in its net income from fees and commissions by about 23.4% during the first quarter of this year, recording 186.14 million pounds during the first quarter of 2025, compared to 150.84 billion pounds during the first quarter of 2024.
As for tenth place, it went to the Commercial International Bank «CIB», after its net income from fees and commissions increased by about 22.9% during the first 3 months of this year, recording 1.92 billion pounds during the first quarter of 2025, compared to 1.57 billion pounds during the first quarter.From 2024.
