Credit Agricole Egypt sees slight decline its market shares during 2022
Credit Agricole Egypt has seen a collective slight decline in its market shares during the first 9 months of 2022. With regards to its market share in terms of assets; it has decreased by 0.08 % to account for 0.62% of the total assets of the Egyptian banking sector in 9M-22 compared 0.70% by the end of 2021.
Furthermore, its market share in terms of financial investments; it has decreased to stand at 0.37% of the total financial investments (stocks) of the Egyptian banking sector in Q3-22 compared to 0.70% by the end of 2021.
Moreover, its market share in terms of loans; it has slightly decreased by 0.05% to stand at 0.96 %of the total deposits of the Egyptian banking sector in Q3-22 compared to 1.01% by the end of 2021.
The decrease in the market share in terms of loans was attributed to the fall back the bank has witnessed in the market share of individual loans which retreated to 0.69 % of the total retail loans of the banking sector in Q3-22 compared to 0.20% by the end of 2021.
However, its market share in terms of deposits; it has decreased to stand at 0.69% of the total deposits of the Egyptian banking sector in Q3-22 compared to 0.75% by the end of 2021.
