Housing & Development Bank, SC Bank, and AL Baraka, fastest growing listed banks in net profits in H1-2025
According To First Bank List Of The Fastest-Growing Listed Banks In Net Profits during H1 in the current year, Housing & Development Bank Topped The List, With Its Net Profits Rising By 73.1%, To Reach EGP 8.93 Bn during H1-2025, Compared To EGP 5.16 Bn During The same Period of 2024.
The list, which included all banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange (a total of 12 banks), revealed that 9 banks achieved positive growth rates in their net profits during the period from January to June 2025, while 3 banks recorded significant declines over the same period.
SC Bank Secured the Second Position with A Growth Rate Of 70.6%, Achieving A Net Profit Of EGP 3.08 Bn in H1-2025, compared to EGP 1.81 Bn during the same period of 2024.
The Third Position Went To alBaraka Bank, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 46.7% And Recording EGP 1.96 bn In Net Profits during H1-2025, Compared To EGP 1.34 bn In H1-2024.
EGBANK Secured The Fourth Position, With An 40.2% Growth In Net Profits, Reaching EGP 1.73 Bn during H1-2025, Compared To EGP 1.23 Bn In H1-2024.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt Claimed The Fifth Position, With A Growth Rate Of 34.4%, Attaining A Net Profit Of EGP 6.04 Bn during H1-2025, Compared To EGP 4.49 Bn In H1-2024.
