EGBANK, SC Bank, and ADIB-Egypt top fastest-Growing Listed Banks in Retail Loans During H1 2025

EGBANK topped the list of the fastest-growing banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange in terms of retail loans growth during the first half (H1) of 2025, with a growth rate of 58%.
SC Bank secured second place with a 35.8% increase, while ADIB-Egypt ranked third at 28.8%. saib and Al Baraka completed the top five with growth rates of 22.7% and 17.8%, respectively.
According to First Bank’s ranking of the fastest-growing listed banks by retail loans in H1 2025, EGBANK led the list after its retail loans grew by 58% during the period, reaching EGP 25.35 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 16.05 billion at the end of 2024.
The ranking, which included all 12 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, showed that all banks achieved positive growth in retail loans during the first half of 2025,
Suez Canal Bank claimed second place with a growth rate of 35.8% in H1 2025, as its retail loans increased to EGP 7.46 billion by the end of June, up from EGP 5.49 billion at the end of 2024.
ADIB-Egypt ranked third after its retail loans rose by 28.8% in H1 2025, reaching EGP 35.63 billion by the end of June, compared to EGP 27.66 billion at the end of 2024.
saib Bank came fourth with a 22.7% increase, as retail loans rose to EGP 24.27 billion by the end of June 2025, from EGP 19.78 billion at year-end 2024.
In fifth place, Al Baraka recorded a 17.8% rise in total retail loans, reaching EGP 14.75 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 12.52 billion at the end of 2024.
It is worth noting that all figures and growth rates mentioned in the above analysis are based on the independently published financial statements of each bank as of June 2025.
