SC Bank, saib, and ADIB-Egypt top fastest growing listed banks in deposits during H1-2025

The First Bank list of banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange with the fastest growth in customer deposits during the first half of 2025 revealed that Suez Canal Bank topped the list, as its portfolio of customer deposits increased by about 29.3%, reaching EGP 175.17 Bn by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 135.47 Bn by the end of 2024.
The list, which included all 12 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, showed that all banks achieved positive growth rates in their total customer deposit portfolios during the first half of 2025.
Returning to the list, «saib» snatched second place with a growth rate of 18.5% during the first half of this year, as its customer deposit portfolio rose to EGP 139.20 Bn by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 117.45 Bn by the end of 2024.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt «ADIB-Egypt» ranked third, as its portfolio of customer deposits increased by about 16.6% during the first half of this year, reaching EGP 233.60 Bn by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 200.28 Bn by the end of 2024.
The United Bank came fourth, as its customer deposit portfolio rose by about 11% during the first half of this year, recording EGP 69.71 Bn by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 62.82 Bn by the end of 2024.
As for the fifth place, it went to Crédit Agricole Egypt, as its customer deposit portfolio jumped by about 8.8% during the first half of this year, reaching EGP 103.89 Bn by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 95.52 Bn by the end of 2024.
It is worth noting that all the values and growth rates mentioned in the above analysis are in accordance with the independent financial statements announced for each bank at the end of June 2025.
