Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Monday’s trading

The Foreign exchange rate witnessed decline at the beginning of Monday’s 16, January trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP29.5627 for buying and EGP29.6495 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-ADIB Egypt and aiBank at EGP 29.61

The lowest rate for selling was in the Banque Mist and National Bank of Egypt at the level of EGP 29.55

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 32.0105 for buying and EGP 32.1163 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in Emirates NBD-Egypt at EGP31.93. The lowest rate for selling was in NBE and Banque Misr at EGP 32.11

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 35.1434 for buying and EGP 36.2761 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying in the Egypt’s Export Development Bank at EGP 36.85

While the lowest rate for selling was in NBE and Banque Misr at EGP 36.19

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 7.8702 for buying and EGP7.89145 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB-Egypt was at EGP7.87

The lowest rate for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at EGP 7.87

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 96.8444 for buying and EGP 97.1667 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in SAIB was at EGP96.81. The lowest price for selling was in the NBE and Banque Misr came at EGP79.85

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 8.0480 for buying and EGP 8.0738 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today in ADIB Egypt was at EGP8.06

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was recorded in the NBE and Banque Misr at EGP8.05
