saib tops the list of the fastest-growing banks in direct loans with a growth rate of 55.4%, while SC Bank secured second place with 50%.

CIBranked third with a growth rate of 32.7%, followed by ADIB-Egypt and HD Bank in fourth and fifth places with 27.8% and 27.6%, respectively, during the first half of 2025.

ADCB, EBank, and EGBANK were also among the top 10 fastest-growing banks in direct loans, with growth rates of 26.9%, 20.1%, and 19.3%, respectively.

First Bank’s list of the fastest-growing banks in direct loans during the first half of 2025 revealed that saib topped the ranking with a growth rate of 55.4%, Its Direct loans rose to EGP 11.58 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 7.45 billion at the end of 2024.

The list monitored the direct loans of 24 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector, based on available financial data. Results showed that 22 banks achieved positive growth in direct loans during the first half of 2025, while two banks achieved a decline.

Suez Canal Bank came in second place, as its direct loans increased by 50% to reach EGP 29.62 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 19.75 billion at the end of 2024.

Commercial International Bank «CIB» secured third place, recording growth of 32.7% to EGP 188.66 billion, up from EGP 142.23 billion at the end of 2024.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-Egypt «ADIB-Egypt» ranked fourth with 27.8% growth, as direct loans rose to EGP 76.11 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 59.54 billion at the end of 2024.

Housing and Development Bank «HD» followed in fifth place with a 27.6% increase, bringing its direct loans to EGP 19.42 billion, compared to EGP 15.21 billion at the end of 2024.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank-Egypt «ADCB» came sixth, with direct loans up 26.9% to EGP 36.21 billion, versus EGP 28.54 billion in December 2024.

Export Development Bank of Egypt «EBank» took seventh place, recording 20.1% growth to EGP 16.21 billion, compared to EGP 13.50 billion previously.

EGBANK followed in eighth place, as direct loans rose by 19.3% to EGP 19.97 billion by June 2025, against EGP 16.74 billion at the end of 2024.

In ninth place, the United Bank recorded 16.2% growth, with direct loans climbing to EGP 16.25 billion from EGP 13.99 billion.

Finally, First Abu Dhabi Bank-Egypt «FABMISR» ranked tenth, as direct loans grew 15.6% to EGP 73.53 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 63.59 billion at the end of 2024.

It is worth noting that all values and growth rates mentioned above are based on the independent financial statements released by each bank at the end of June 2025.
