SC Bank, Fasil Islamic Bank and saib Fastest-Growing Banks in Corporate Deposits During H1-2025

SC Banktops the list of the fastest-growing banks in corporate deposits with a growth rate of 28.5%, while Faisal Islamic Bank secured second place with 19.9%.

saib ranked third with a growth rate of 15.5%, followed by ADCB and HDB in fourth and fifth places with 13.5% and 13.1%, respectively, during the first half of 2025.

ABK-Egypt, Alex Bank, and ADIB-Egypt were also among the top 10 fastest-growing banks in corporate deposit, with growth rates of 12.4%, 12%, and 10.9%, respectively.

First Bank’s list of the fastest-growing banks in corporate deposits during the first half of 2025 revealed that Suez Canal Bank topped the ranking with a growth rate of 28.5%, Its Corporate Deposits portfolio rose to EGP 146.99 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 114.34 billion at the end of 2024.

The list monitored the corporate deposits of 25 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector, based on available financial data. Results showed that 19 banks recorded positive growth in corporate deposits during the first half of 2025, while 6 banks recorded a decline.

Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt came in second place, as its corporate deposits increased by 19.9% to reach EGP 5.05 billion by the end of June 2025, compared to EGP 4.21 billion at the end of 2024.

Arab International Banking Company Bank «saib» secured third place, recording growth of 15.5% to EGP 89.48 billion, up from EGP 77.50 billion at the end of 2024.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank «ADCB» ranked fourth with 13.5% growth, as corporate deposits rose to EGP 106.06 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 93.47 billion at the end of 2024.

Housing and Development Bank «HDB» followed in fifth place with a 13.1% increase, bringing its corporate deposits to EGP 72.96 billion, compared to EGP 64.49 billion at the end of 2024.

Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt «ABK-Egypt» came sixth, with corporate deposits up 12.4% to EGP 96.63 billion, versus EGP 85.95 billion in December 2024.

Bank of Alexandria took seventh place, recording 12% growth to EGP 58.33 billion, compared to EGP 52.06 billion previously.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt «ADIB-Egypt» followed in eighth place, as corporate deposits rose by 10.9% to EGP 125.89 billion by June 2025, against EGP 113.48 billion at the end of 2024.

In ninth place, First Abu Dhabi Bank-Egypt «FABMISR» recorded 9.6% growth, with corporate deposits climbing to EGP 220.99 billion from EGP 201.54 billion.

Finally, Bank NXT ranked tenth, as corporate deposits grew 8.1% to EGP 50.34 billion by June 2025, compared to EGP 46.56 billion at the end of 2024.
