EGP index declines to 55.918 points on at the end of Wednesday tradings

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Wednesday 25, January 2023. The index reached 55.918 points, compared to 55.945 points on tusday’s trading.
The Egyptian pound index decreased against 3 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It fell against the, Saudi riyal , Japanese yen, pound sterling and while it settled against, the UAE dirham, Chinese Yuan,euro,US doller.
The average Pound Sterling selling rate in Egypt increases from EGP 36.83 to EGP 36.85 at the end of Wednesday trading, while the average buying rate increase from EGP 36.70 to EGP 36.73.
The average rate of the Euro in Egypt settled at EGP 32.52for selling while the average buying price settled at EGP 32.41.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 22.98 to EGP23.06 while the buying price increased from EGP 22.90 to EGP 22.98.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt setteld at EGP 4.41 for selling while EGP4.39 at the end of today's trading.
The average rate of the US dollar setteld at EGP 29.92for selling and EGP 29.82 for buying at the end of today's trading.
The average rate of the Saudi riyal increase in Egypt from EGP 7.96 to EGP 7.97 for selling while remain stable at EGP 9.74 for buying. at the end of today's trading.
The average selling rate of the UAE dirham remained stable at 8.14 for selling and The buying of price increase from EGP 8.11toEGP 8.12 for buying. at the end of today's trading.
