EGX30 beginning Sunday with 0.23% decrease in benchmark

Egyptian Stock Exchange «EGX30» has Started sunday 8 March 2026 trading session with market capitalization of 3.261 trillion.
The benchmark EGX30 index opened today’s session at 47.516 points, recording a 2.70% decrease in early trading to reach 47.405 points.
Investors traded on 217 shares, 99 shares rose, 53 fell and 65 shares remained stable.
However, the turnover reached 485 million securities dealt in cash executed on 75 thousand transactions, bringing the total trading volume to 2.98 bn.
