The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of sunday 15 March 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar against EGP recorded EGP 52.4785 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 52.5785 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «NXT Bank» at EGP 52.65 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 52.48 .
Euro
The Euro against EGP recorded EGP 59.9095 for buying and EGP 60.0289 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «HSBC» at EGP 60.55 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 60.40 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling fell against EGP recorded at EGP 69.3871 for buying and EGP 69.5614 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «HSBC» at EGP 70.15 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 69.86 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.9850 for buying and EGP 14.0123 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt», «NXT Bank» at EGP 14.02 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD», «EBank» at EGP 14.00 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 171.1908 for buying, EGP 171.5729 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 172.02 .
