EGP index declines to 55.001 points on at the end of TUESDAY’s trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 5 currencies during tuesday,31 January 2023. The index reached 55.001 points, compared to 55.299 points at Monday trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 5 major currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It fell against the, Saudi Riyal , Japanese Yen, Pound Sterling, US Dollar The UAE Dirham, Chinese Yuan, it increased against Euro , Pound Sterling.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt increased from EGP 30.06 to EGP30.21 while the buying price increased from EGP 29.96 to EGP 30.11.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 23.11 to EGP23.16 while the buying price increased from EGP 23.04 to EGP 23.09.

The average rate of the Chinese yuan increased in Egypt from EGP 4.45 to EGP 4.47 for selling while the buying price increased from EGP 4.43 to EGP 4.45 at the end of Tuesday.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased from EGP 8.00 EGP8.04 while the buying price increased from EGP 7.98 to EGP 8.02 at the end of Tuesday.

The average selling price of the UAE dirhamin Egypt increased from EGP 8.18 EGP8.22 while the buying price increased from EGP 8.15 to EGP 8.19 at the end of Tuesday.

The average Euro selling rate in Egypt decrease from EGP 32.78 to EGP 32.74 at the end of Monday trading, while the average buying rate decreases from EGP 32.66 to EGP 32.62.

The average Pound Sterling selling rate in Egypt decrease from EGP 37.26 to EGP 37.23 at the end of Tuesday trading, while the average buying rate decrease from EGP 36.13 to EGP 37.11.
