Hassan Ghanem Named in First Bank’s List of Top Egyptian Banking Executives for 2025

During 2025, the bank continued its stellar performance, delivering strong financial results across all key indicators, underpinned by robust growth in both core revenues and business volumes.
The bank recorded net profits of EGP 17.21 bn, reflecting a remarkable annual growth of 55.9%, while pre-tax profits rose to EGP 23.20 bn, up by 54.6%.
Net interest income surged by 45.8% to reach EGP 27.59 bn, supported by a solid expansion in earning assets, while net fees and commissions income grew by 18% to EGP 1.13 bn.
On the balance sheet, total assets expanded significantly to EGP 229.80 bn, driven by strong business momentum.
Customer deposits climbed to EGP 179.13 bn, demonstrating sustained customer confidence, while net loans to customers increased to EGP 60.28 bn, reflecting continued growth in lending activity.
Profitability metrics remained at strong levels, with ROAE standing at 55.69% and ROAA improving to 8.41%, highlighting the bank’s ability to efficiently generate returns and sustain high performance levels.
