EGP index stabilizes against a basket of major currencies to 34.727 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index witnessed stbaility against major currencies by the end of trading on monday 6 April, stabilized to 34.727 points compared to 34.729 points at the close of the previous sunday.
The stability of the pound index came as a result of its stability against the Chinese yuan, the Japanese yen, the UAE dirham, its decline against the euro, the pound sterling, and its rise against the US dollar, and the Saudi riyal at the end of today's trading.
The euro’s average selling price increased from EGP 62.82 to EGP 62.95, while the average buying price rose from EGP 62.68 to EGP 62.82 .
The British pound’s selling price climbed from EGP 71.98 to EGP 72.19, while the average buying price increased from EGP 71.79 to EGP 72.05 .
The Chinese yuan’s average selling price stabilized at EGP 7.92, while the average buying price stabilized at EGP 7.90 .
The Japanese yen’s average selling price stabilized at EGP 34.18, while the average buying price stabilized at EGP 34.10 .
The UAE dirham’s average selling price stabilized at EGP 14.84, while the average buying price fell from EGP 14.82 to EGP 14.80.
The Saudi riyal’s average selling price decreased from EGP 14.53 to EGP 14.51, while the average buying price stabilized at EGP 14.49 by the end of trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar fell from EGP 54.54 to EGP 54.49, while the average buying price fell from EGP 54.44 to EGP 54.39 by the close of trading.
