Foreign currency exchange rates remained stable at the beginning of trading in Egyptian banks today, Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Below is a detailed report on exchange rates in Egyptian banks:

US Dollar  

The average exchange rate of the US dollar remained stable against the Egyptian pound yesterday, recording EGP 53.4600 for buying and EGP 53.5988 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price for the dollar was recorded at Suez Canal Bank at EGP 53.56 at the start of today’s trading.

The lowest selling price for the dollar was recorded at Emirates NBD Bank at EGP 53.48 at the beginning of today’s trading.

Euro

The average euro exchange rate saw a slight decline against the Egyptian pound yesterday, recording EGP 62.5535 for buying and EGP 62.7374 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.

The highest buying price for the euro was recorded at the Arab International Bank (AIB) at EGP 62.65 at the start of today’s trading.

The lowest selling price for the euro was recorded at Emirates NBD Bank at EGP 62.87 at the beginning of today’s trading.

British Pound

The British pound also recorded a slight decline during yesterday’s trading against the Egyptian pound, reaching EGP 72.3902 for buying and EGP 72.6156 for selling, according to the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price for the British pound was recorded at the Arab International Bank (AIB) at EGP 72.55 at the start of today’s trading.

The lowest selling price was recorded at MID Bank at EGP 72.65 at the beginning of today’s trading.

Saudi Riyal

The Saudi riyal remained stable at the close of yesterday’s trading, recording EGP 14.2526 for buying and EGP 14.2903 for selling, according to data from the Central Bank.

The highest buying price for the riyal was recorded at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK Egypt) at EGP 14.26 at the start of today’s trading.

The lowest selling price for the Saudi riyal was recorded at Emirates NBD Bank at EGP 14.2 at the beginning of today’s trading.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded a slight increase at the close of yesterday’s trading in Egypt, reaching EGP 174.5063 for buying and EGP 175.0164 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price for the Kuwaiti dinar was recorded at HSBC at EGP 174.70 at the start of today’s trading.

The lowest selling price was recorded at the Export Development Bank of Egypt (Ebank) at EGP 174.60 at the beginning of today’s trading.

UAE Dirham

The UAE dirham remained stable at the close of yesterday’s trading in Egypt, recording EGP 14.5537 for buying and EGP 14.5950 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price for the UAE dirham was recorded at HSBC at EGP 14.57 at the start of today’s trading.

The lowest selling price for the UAE dirham was recorded at Emirates NBD Bank at EGP 14.57 at the beginning of today’s trading.
