Dubai Islamic Bank Secures Third Place, While Alinma Bank and ADIB Rank Fourth and Fifth, Respectively

«First Bank» ranking of the Top 20 Islamic Banks in the World as of March 2026 revealed that Al Rajhi Bank retained its position as the world's largest Islamic bank, with total assets amounting to approximately US$280.11 billion.

The ranking was based on reported total assets, converted into U.S. dollars, providing a standardized basis for comparison among Islamic banking institutions worldwide. Banks that did not disclose official financial data were excluded to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the ranking methodology.

It is worth noting that the ranking covers parent Islamic banking groups across different countries and does not include their foreign subsidiaries.

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) ranked second, with total assets of approximately US$141.87 billion at the end of March 2026.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) secured third place, reporting total assets of approximately US$114.32 billion at the end of March 2026.

Alinma Bank ranked fourth, with total assets reaching approximately US$86.41 billion during the period under review.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) came fifth, with total assets of approximately US$78.15 billion at the end of March 2026.

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) ranked sixth, with total assets amounting to approximately US$61.48 billion by the end of March 2026.

Al Rayan Bank secured seventh place, reporting total assets of approximately US$48.02 billion.

Bank Albilad ranked eighth, with total assets reaching approximately US$47.95 billion during the review period.

Bank Aljazira came ninth, with total assets of approximately US$46.13 billion at the end of March 2026.

Emirates Islamic Bank completed the top ten, with total assets amounting to approximately US$40.68 billion at the end of March 2026.
