Beltone Holding topped First Bank’s ranking of the fastest-growing investment banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) by assets in the first half of 2026, with growth of 154.3 per cent, after its total assets increased to EGP 134.84 billion at end-June 2026, compared with EGP 53.02 billion at end-2025.

Prime Holding for Financial Investments ranked second, recording growth of 69.4 per cent during H1 2026, after its asset portfolio reached about EGP 1.64 billion at end-June 2026, compared with EGP 966.62 million at end-2025.

EFG Holding ranked third, with its asset portfolio rising by about 13 per cent during H1 2026 to EGP 260.67 billion at end-June 2026, compared with EGP 230.65 billion at end-2025.

The ranking, which included seven investment banks listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), showed that six recorded positive asset growth during H1 2026, while one recorded a notable decline.

The combined assets of the seven EGX-listed investment banks reached about EGP 452.85 billion at end-June 2026, representing growth of 34.1 per cent during the first half of the year, reflecting the continued expansion of investment banks’ asset bases over the period.

EFG Holding maintained its position as the largest EGX-listed investment bank by assets, with total assets of EGP 260.67 billion at end-June 2026, while Beltone Holding ranked second with assets of EGP 134.84 billion at the end of the same period.

One investment bank recorded a decline in assets: ODIN Investments, whose assets fell by about 4.5 per cent during H1 2026 to EGP 451.39 million at end-June 2026, compared with EGP 472.81 million at end-2025.
