Egyptians’ remittances rise 28.1% to USD 29.7bn in first seven months of 2026
Remittances from Egyptians working abroad rose 28.1 per cent during the first seven months of 2026, reaching around USD 29.7bn, compared with about USD 23.2bn in the same period a year earlier.
The upward trend continued in July, with remittances increasing 20.0 per cent year on year to around USD 4.5bn, compared with about USD 3.8bn in July 2025.
