Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Tuesday’s closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Tuesday 14 February with increase in the market cap by 0.82% or EGP 290.136 billion compared to EGP 287.784 billion at the end of Monday’s session

The market cap of the banking sector reached 27.89% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to EGP 258.700 million which represents 11.46% of the total trading volume today after 9.440 million shares were exchanged capturing 1.64% of the total trading volume

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Tuesday’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP 51.8 million on shares
